Caballito's Mar services include lodging, bar and restaurant, and kayak tours to the Nicaragua Lake and Istian River (guests use one hour free kayak to watch sunset ). This is a rustic infrastructure place, with a friendly and alternative atmosphere.
We are located right on the shore, in Merida rural community, in front of the Maderas volcano foothills in Ometepe Island. Here you can appreciate the day to day life of the local people (fishers in the lake, children walking or playing in the surrounding, women washing clothes in the ancient laundry rocks in the proximity). The panoramic views to the Concepcion volcano, and the Rivas coast (main land) are beautiful.
Caballito's Mar has two private cabins with AC or fan, a private room with fan, and a small shared dorm room. All beds has moskito net. All room options are next to the central restaurant and bar area, where you can eat, take a meal, ask for tourism information or arrange a guided tour or transportation to any of the island's attraction.
